Hi! My name is Aubrey Elizabeth Kasold! I am a sweet, intelligent and super energetic 9 year old! I was born in Conway, South Carolina- 15 minutes from the beach.  I live in Ashburn, Virginia with my mom Megan Bennett and my step-dad Nikhil Bonthapally. I am currently the only child. I have one puppy - Bailey Meade and a guinea pig- Rosey. I attend church at Saint Theresa Catholic Church. After church, I like to watch TV, read and draw or maybe all of them at once! I love Jesus and my family! I was four years old when my dad passed away. It was a terribly sad day, one I will never forget. I remember being so confused, not understanding why my dad was gone. I felt so lost and alone without him.I had so many questions that I wanted to ask him, so many things I wanted to tell him. I wanted to hear his voice and feel his embrace one last time. But, I was never able to do any of those things. I miss my dad every day. I still think about him and the memories we shared. I know I will never forget him and I will always carry him in my heart. Rest in Heaven Dad!  

I plan to make a difference in the world! "Be the change you want to see in the world..."    

I am in the Third Grade this year and I am proud to say that I have been able to maintain my grades all year long. I have been putting in a lot of effort to make sure that I am doing my best in all of my classes. I have been studying hard and paying attention in class to make sure I understand the material.  I am proud of the progress I have made and am looking forward to continuing to do my best in the remaining months of the school year.  

I'm so excited to start my pageant journey in August 2023! I'm taking this opportunity to learn more about myself and grow into a confident young woman. I'm already starting to come out of my shell and make friends with people I never thought I would. I'm trying new activities and exploring my passions, and I'm having so much fun. It's a great experience and I'm really looking forward to the journey ahead!    

My Hobbies

Art is my passion! I love to draw and color or paint - anything that has anything to do with art supplies!  Sometimes I sit in my room and draw all day. Besides art, my other passion is Cheer. I’m on a competitive cheer team at Stingray Allstars- Go Rays! In my free time, I usually watch YouTube video dance tutorials. I have learned so many dances that way! Playing video games is super fun, too! A few of my favorite video games are Just Dance 2022 and Mario Kart Deluxe- I’m pretty good, too! I also enjoy singing and dancing with my mom, swimming, riding my bike, reading, traveling, horseback riding and going to the park with my family!  

My favorite subjects are Reading, Science and History! I absolutely love to read! Sometimes I bring my books home from school over the weekend! I find Science to be really interesting because it helps me to understand the world around me.  History is also a fascinating subject for me. I love learning about different cultures and the events that have shaped our world. It's amazing to think about how much has changed over time!

What National American Miss means to me...

NAM has given me the opportunity to realize that my dreams are as attainable as I make them! As long as I work hard, no matter how big my dreams are, I can reach them. Even though I am still somewhat shy, I have learned that I can overcome that. It is ok to be nervous but as long as I can keep my smile and poise, which gives me confidence, I can succeed!    

When I grow up...

I would like to be many things: Model, Veterinarian, Cheerleader and an Artist. I know it’s a lot but I feel like I can do all of them or any one of them because I’m a girl with big dreams! I want to share the world with people, the way I see it, through my art! on stage! I love fashion, I would love to model a designer’s clothing either on the runway or in magazines! Yes, I’m a girl with many big dreams and I know that God will bless me with whatever I need to make my big dreams come true!
